New stash from INOV8

As we’ve written earlier in this blog, INOV8 are sponsoring us with both shoes and backpacks for our run. I haven’t tried the new Roclite 295 yet, but will be lacing ’em up for the first time on Thursday afternoon’s 25k long run. Their backpack, Race Elite 25, also arrived in the mail before the weekend and my first impression is: WOW! It’s really light, comfy on the back and much more roomy than you’d give it credit for. I easily fit all of my gear for the gym this morning in it, and will be trying it out for real on Thursday as well. As you can see from the pics, I’ve had it embellished with our club logo and the countries I’ll be running for (thank you mom!!! :). More detailed reviews of the shoes and backpack will be coming up, we promise. And please, stay tuned this weekend for information about our charity that we will be running for in Sahara: the children’s ward at Saint Francis’ Hospital in Zambia.

My right foot is looking forward to this.
